


$24.99 a year is $2 and some change a month. My ripped CDs are of the highest lossy quality, or at the very least, I'm happy with it. I do realize they also let you listen to higher quality versions, but I'm good on that front. I don't need Apple to fix that for me, and certainly not for cost. But I'm obsessive with my metadata if I have music stored locally, all the metadata is right, and the album cover is of the highest resolution I could find.
